Croney & Clark, Inc. was established in 1990 by Elizabeth L. Croney, LCSW, and James J. Clark, PhD., LCSW. They have devoted their agency to providing social services and education to children and their families. Croney & Clark, Inc. believes that the mental health and well-being of each client is best served by individualized care and treatment; the agency and its team of professionals ensure this commitment is followed by employing the "wraparound" approach to services. Croney & Clark, Inc. subcontracts with the Kentucky Division of Mental Health and the Kentucky Department of Families and Children as providers of IMPACT Plus services.

The agency's highly trained staff of therapists, service coordinators and therapeutic child support workers provides services across all domains to children with mental health needs who are either placed in out-of-home care, hospitalized or who are facing imminent removal from their biological home. The agency has extensive experience working with schools, healthcare providers, DCBS, DJJ, Partners for Youth, and other community partners. Thus, we are able to provide family/child centered therapies with specific supports and goals identified for the families to empower themselves to advocate on their behalf and to utilize the service systems available as their own needs dictate.

Croney & Clark, Inc. has a staff comprised of PhD, LCSW or MSW level therapists; MSW/BA level case managers and therapeutic child support workers. With this staff of 70 professionals, the agency provides IMPACT Plus services to families in Fayette County and the sixteen surrounding counties: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Estill, Franklin, Garrard, Harrison, Jessamine, Lincoln, Madison, Mercer, Nicholas, Powell, Scott and Woodford.

Croney & Clark, Inc. also provides services through grants and is a much sought after placement for both master's and bachelor's level students in the mental health field.

The agency contracts with the University of Kentucky's Department of Psychiatry; psychiatry residents provide services two and a half days per week for the agency's clients.
